NTA is the National Testing Agency and is the concerned education authority for taking care of the NEET 2022 exams. NEET is the national-level entrance exam for medical aspirants. The students who wish to pursue medical education will have to clear the NEET exams to get admission to any college. NEET stands for National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test.

Along with the Indian medical colleges, NEET also helps in getting admissions to International medical colleges. This exam helps the students in getting admission to International medical universities as well. But, the candidates will have to clear the NEET exams with excellent scores. Only then they will be able to get foreign admissions.

Candidates who wish to do MBBS or BDS from any college in India will have to clear the NEET entrance test. It is based on these exams that the students will be selected for admission to any top college. Also, the NEET exams are for undergraduate courses only.

Important Information about NTA NEET 2022

NTA will be organising the NEET 2022 exams in June 2022. However, no official date has been released about it yet. These are just the expected dates but they will be eventually cleared out by NTA itself. NTA will issue an entire exam calendar for it on their website. 

The candidates will have to first register themselves on the website and then proceed with further information. The candidates will have to register, then log in, fill in their name, e-mail id, gender, mobile no., and academic details and also upload the supporting documents.

NEET UG 2022 registrations will begin in January 2022. The registration will happen online on the official website of NEET. All the registration from the start to the end will be online mode. The registration dates are still not out.

LPU College admission

But, they are expected to be out anytime soon. NTA will release the registration dates for NTA NEET 2022 on their official website. Interested candidates must have a look at their website for all the latest information. 

NTA NEET 2022 Qualification 

The candidates need to check out the qualifications for NTA NEET 2022. The first qualification or eligibility criterion is the age factor. The candidates must have to be of 17 years as of December 31, 2022.

There is no upper age limit for the same. The candidates who are above 25 years of age, will also be eligible to apply for NEET 2022 and will be provisionally admitted subject to the ruling of the High Court of Delhi.

The candidates who will be sitting for the NEET 2022 exams must be sure that they have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as their major subjects in school. They must have a degree from any renowned board.

The students who have just finished their 12th or are about to complete their 12th or any equivalent examination are also eligible to sit for the exams.

NTA NEET 2022 Exam Dates (Tentative Dates Not Finalised Ones)

NTA NEET 2022 Exam date – June 2022 (likely to be) 

NEET 2022 registration date – January 2022 (likely to be) 

NEET Admit Card 2022 releasing date – April 2022 (likely to be)

NTA NEET 2022 Exam Pattern 

Physics (A+B) – 35 + 15 = 180 marks 

Chemistry (A+B) – 35 + 15 = 180 marks 

Botany (A+B) – 35 + 15 = 180 marks 

Zoology (A+B) = 180 marks 

Total – 200 questions = 720 marks 

Minimum Marks Required 

General category: 50 per cent 

SC/ST/OBC: 40 per cent 

PWD category: 45 per cent

The marking scheme is +4 for every correct answer and -1 for any wrong answer. There are negative markings so the students must be aware of them.
