TN 12th class result: Great release on July 19

TN 12th class result (Tamil Nadu) is scheduled to be released on July 19 (Monday) by 11 am. Many students are eagerly awaiting for the result release.

Directorate of Government Examinations of Tamil Nadu has already announced the release of the result.

It is interesting to note that about eight lakh students had registered for 12th class board exams in Tamil Nadu.

How to view the result
Students can see the TN 12th class result on their mobile number.

The result will be sent in form of an SMS to the mobile number students would have registered while applying for the exam.

Students who have provided the mobile numbers of their parents or guardians while registering for the exam, can either approach their parents or guardians or communicate with them to obtain the result.

TN 12th class result for 2021 can be viewed online on the following websites ‘www.dge1.tn.nic.in’ ‘www.dge2.tn.nic.in’ ‘tnresults.nic.in’ and ‘http://dge.tn.gov.in/’

Students can click anyone of the above mentioned urls and enter details like application number or hall ticket number and password or security pin number mentioned there and submit them to obtain TN 12th class result.

Students have to remember that the websites could witness heavy rush soon after TN 12th class result for 2021 is declared as people in large numbers would begin visiting them for the results.

Those who could not view their TN 12th class result can wait for the rush on the website to come down and then make an attempt to view the result.

Students can after viewing their TN 12th class result can download it and take a printout and preserve it for future use.

Students can download their marksheets for the 12th class from 11 am onwards on July 22. The websites where they can obtain their marksheets are ‘www.dge.tn.gov.in’ and ‘www.dge.tn.nic.in’

Physical exams
Individuals who have viewed their TN 12th class result and are not satisfied with the marks obtained can go for the physical exams.

The exams will be conducted physically when the situation becomes appropriate. Marks scored in the exam conducted physically will be considered final.

Post declaration of TN 12th class result for 2021, the scenario would shift towards conducting competitive exams aimed at providing entry into higher education.

Students can focus on preparing for exams like JEE Mains, NEET UG after obtaining their 12th class result.

The spread of corona virus caused much panic in the nation and whole lot of school exams had to be postponed.

CBSE 12th and 10th class exams were postponed, state education boards soon took the same path.

Though the exams were postponed initially with a motive to be conducted on a later date, taking the COVID-19 situation into account, the exams were cancelled.

A wave of confusion ruled over the country, when exams were postponed. Tamil Nadu did not remain an exception this situation.

Students and parents pondered over the prospects of conducting class 12 exams across the country.

However, the confusion ended when the 12th class exams were confirmedly cancelled.

The big question was how to declare the TN 12th class result after cancelling the exam?

The results were declared after undertaking the evaluation based on alternative assessment method.

As per the alternative assessment method, 50 percent weightage was given to class X board exams (average of three subjects), 20 percent weightage was given to public exam theory marks, 30 percent to class 12 practicals/internal marks for both practical and non-practical subject groups.
