UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2026 Application Starts From 10 December 2025, All The Details For You

UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2026 application submission will be on at ‘https://upsconline.nic.in/’ from 10 to 30 December 2025. Individuals interested in joining armed forces can apply for the exam.
Registration for UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2026 starts on 10 December 2025 and the last date to apply is 30 December 2025.


UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2026 application submission schedule
Those who submit applications for UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2026 can appear for the exam on 12 April 2026.
The UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2026 application submission schedule will be made known when the notification in connection with UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2026 is out.
Notification in connection is expected to be out by 9 or 10 December 2025, the other aspects of the exam too will be known from the notification.

UPSC CDS 2 Exam 2025 registration process can be done online. Application for the exam can be submitted on the official website ‘https://upsconline.nic.in/’
A new portal has been started by UPSC where applicants can submit their applications for competitive exams. UPSC CDS 2 Exam 2025 registration process is explained below for the sake of the candidates:
1. Type the URL mentioned above in the browser and submit to allow the website to download.
2. Once the website is ready, candidates can view the menu.
3. Those who are new can click Create Account
4. They can create an account using either their email id, mobile number.
5. The email id and mobile number would be verified through an OTP.
6. Create password after mobile number and email are verified.
7. Post password creation, the account would be ready.
8. Login after creating an account and take up universal registration.
9. After that fill common application form.
10. Check examination notices, fill the exam specific information. This is regarding the exam the candidates is trying to apply (UPSC CDS 2 2025 Exam).
Point to remember
The stages (no 3 to 9) will be common for all examinations and they can be undertaken by candidates anytime.
The stage no 10, will have the form related to the exam which the candidate wants to apply. This can be filled only when the duration of the registration of the exam is open.

The first three are to be filled by candidates for all examinations, the last one (No 4) is different for each examinations.
To do the last stage (No 4) candidates have to complete first three stages (No 1, No 2 and No 3). The old OTR registration will not be applicable from now on, say sources. Candidates have to follow the new process from now on to apply for the exams by UPSC.

The new process has to be followed to apply for exams being conducted by UPSC, Union Public Service Commission.

They have to visit the UPSC website to download hall ticket at ‘https://upsconline.nic.in/’
1. The URL above has to be typed into the browser and the webpage must be allowed to download.
2. Once it is ready, candidates have to click the link for admit card and enter their application number and other required details and submit them to obtain the hall ticket.
After the hall ticket
Candidates can appear for the written exam and pass it with required qualifying marks. Those who pass the written exam can appear for SSB Interview.
Candidates can register for SSB Interview separately for Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.
The interview will test physical fitness, mental ability and medical fitness of the candidates.
Final selection will likely be done based on performance in the SSB Interview. Those selected can join the services.
