Government College of Fine Arts, Thrissur is a refulgent mark of the essence. From the year 1910, the college aims to deliver a prospect of the best education that has found the practical roots too. The stream of fine arts has resuscitated owing to the contributions made by premiere institutions. The college started functioning right back in 1910 under the name of Technical, Commercial Industrial School. During the Second World War, it got a new name of Government Trade School. The legacy that it has created in the field of arts and craft is incredible and huge. The college has built up a special platform for aspiring artists and sculptors. It has brought about a change in the entire field of education which has become synonymous with a certain set of courses only.
