Eligibility Certificate from the University of Madras required for the following categories of students:

Candidates, who have passed the following examinations, must obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the University of Madras.

  • Private Candidates under Open Schooling System.
  • Higher Secondary or Equivalent Examinations conducted by all State Boards other than Tamil Nadu State Board.
  • All degree (UG/PG) examinations conducted by Universities other than University of Madras.

 

  1. Candidates who have passed the course of study from Board / University that are not listed in the COBSE / UGC / World List of Universities will not be approved for the admission in UG / PG / M. Phil. courses of this University.
  2. Candidates who have passed under 10+1 are Not Eligible for admission to Three Year Under Graduate Degree Course.
  3. Candidates who have passed the degree course under 10+1+3 or 10+2+2 or 11+1+2 are Not Eligible for admission to Post Graduate Degree Course.
