Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) is one of 23 IITs in India. It was established in the year 1961 and is one of the best institutes in the country. IIT Delhi is an autonomous body which gives it the power to decide its academic policy, to conduct its examination and to award its degrees. The Institute is situated at 325 acres land in Hauz Khas, South Delhi and is well connected by public transports. IIT Delhi has ranked 1^st consecutively for 3 years by Outlook. It has been given the status of Institute of Eminence (IoE) by Govt. of India. The institute conducts various programs including undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programs.
