Overview

Kakatiya Medical College (KMC), Warangal was established in 1959 by the Warangal Regional Medical Education Society with the support of then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Neelam Sanjiva Reddy. The college is affiliated to NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. It provides various undergraduate, postgraduate and super-speciality programs in different streams. All the PG courses offered by the college are recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI). The permanent campus of the college was inaugurated in 1966 by the then Prime Minister, Mrs Indira Gandhi.
