Lovely Professional University (LPU), located in Phagwara, Punjab, India, is a private university. In 2005, Lovely International Trust established this University. LPU is India's first unicampus university, with over 30,000 students, more than 4,000 faculty and staff, and offering over 200 programs.
It offers various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in disciplines like Engineering, Management, Law, Education, etc.

The process of admission is through LPUNEST, which is conducted every year to provide admission into graduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses. Lovely Professional University is conducting the National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission in 150+ programmes.
Since its inception in 2009, more than 75,000 students have appeared in this LPUNEST exam every year. The test can be taken up at the designated exam centres or through remote proctored mode from anywhere.

LPU offers admission in around 200 courses in 40 disciplines and eligibility and selection criteria can vary from course to course. Students willing to get admission in LPU (Lovely Professional University) need to follow the complete admission process as directed by the university.
The University conducts its own entrance exam for admission in technical courses. Candidates can submit the application form both online and offline. LPU conducts the entrance exam LPUNEST for some courses. Check the steps involved while applying for LPUNEST.
Step 1: Visit the official website of Lovely Professional University (LPU).
Step 2. Go to the admission and select the Register Option
Step 3: Enter the details required in the form.
Step 4: Now, Pay the LPUNEST 2025 application fee through either online or offline mode. You can pay through either method i.e, Debit Card/Credit Card/Demand draft.
Step 5: Take out the hard copy of application registration form for future use.
The university campus spreads over 600 acres which provides an amazing and sufficient learning environment to the students. The University campus displays a rich diversity as the academic staff and students come from all 29 Indian states and more than 70 world countries. The staff into teaching is also very highly qualified and they do everything to turn students into highly qualified individuals.
LPU education is a comprehensive one, aimed at the growth of scholars ' intellectual and private strengths. The focus will be on academics where each program is comprehensive to provide the student with sufficient inputs and training in relevant skills so as to help the students embark on a professional career. Apart from providing core inputs related to the specific program the student will also be provided with an exposure to inter-disciplinary areas.
Also, the students will be trained to increase their competence in communication skills, reasoning skills, critical, creative thinking capabilities and a capacity to drive for continuous self learning towards individual development. If the work on academics for the day is over, the time to relax will be a good thing to by socialising with friends on the campus or in the eateries which are brilliant when it comes to serving good food.

| IMPORTANT NOTE 1) Residential Facilties is generally allotted for one Academic Session (i.e. approx. 10 months excluding vacations). However residential facility for 12 months may be alloted on special request of the student at extra cost. Whenever residential facility is offered for one calendar year, student will have to shift the room / hostel building during vacations. 2) Residential facility for lesser duration i.e. One semester or Even Term (with vacations) may be allotted only in the following cases: a) New admissions in a programme of 5 months (or lesser duration) e.g. ELP, Part Time candidate 3) Hostel residents are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Laptop, mobile charger, shaving set, trimmer, hair straightener and hair dryer. Extra electricity bill due to the usage of theses electrical items will be borne by the respective residents. 4) For apartment rooms with pantry, students may also use induction plate for cooking food in addition to gadgets mentioned in Point no. 3. 5) Usage of LPG , Kerosene or other oil/gases are strictly prohibited. 6) Regarding Indoor Stadium Membership, all the consumable and game relevant sports kit has to be brought by the student themself. e.g. swimming costume, squash racket, badminton racket, pistol etc. 7) If a student wants a kit consisting of a Bed sheet and Pillow with Cover then Rs. 3000/ 40 USD additional may have to be paid. |
