Overview

Nalanda University also known as Nalanda International University is a Central University located in the town of Rajgir, Bihar. The University is a research-intensive international university supported by the countries of the East Asia Summit. Being established in 1951 the university began its first academic session in 2014. Nalanda University only offers Masters, Doctorate and Post Graduate Diploma programs to the students. Admission to these courses is done on the basis of merit scored in previous academic examinations. However, candidates seeking admission in the Ph.D. course will be called for a Personal Interview
