Sree Vivekananda Teacher Education Centre (SVTEC) is approved by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and provides B.Ed programs for teacher education and has had very dedicated principles to abide by since its inception. 'Education' by Swami Vivekananda is defined as the manifestation of perfection that already exists in man. The Sree Vivekananda Teacher Education Centre has always looked out for an area which could contribute to social development in a valued and nurturing manner; education was one such field. With modern educational techniques, it can mould and guide young minds and future teachers. The college is poised to develop into an institute of higher learning and interdisciplinary research with special provision of high-quality education adopting the latest methods and techniques for curriculum transaction. SVTEC also aspires to kindle in the students the desire for lifelong learning and for reaching the unreached. The mission of this establishment is to carve out good teachers who can be instrumental in nurturing and grooming the future citizens of this country.
