Board exams 2021

Board exams 2021 (CBSE 10th class) would be conducted when the conditions become conducive for conducting them.

Previous year was not a smooth sailing one for the country. Things never happened as per the schedule as far as academic arena of this country is concerned.

Neither exams nor classes could be conducted, says T. Ramakrishnan, Physics teacher at a CBSE school.

Speculation was rife last that board exams would be conducted. However, exams could never be conducted.

A similar situation seems to be in vogue as far as board exams 2021 is concerned. This year too, school exams are not being conducted as per the schedule.

Board Exams 2021It is not only board exams 2021 of CBSE that are postponed, even those of state boards are likely to be conducted on some other dates.

Maharashtra Education Department sources say, the health situation in the state is being monitored regularly. Fresh dates for board exams 2021 will be announced later.

Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) also has taken a similar measure in connection with board exams 2021.

The revised schedule for 10th and 12th class exams is already released on its official website.

Needless to say, board exams 2021 in the state are postponed due to rising COVID-19 cases in the state.

What about Chhattisgarh? Sources say, decision to cancel forthcoming 10th class exams has been taken.

As this state is no exception to rising COVID-19 cases, the decision not to conduct 10th exams was taken.

However, board exams 2021 for 12th class in Chhattisgarh are likely to be conducted on the dates decided earlier.

The 12th class exams are to start from 3 May and go on till 24 May.

No decision has so far been made about the schedule decided earlier, which only means 12th exams will take place as per the schedule decided earlier.

Board Exams 2021And as far as Uttar Pradesh is concerned, things seem to be treading on the same path in connection with board exams 2021.

The schedule for 10th and 12th class exams is said to have been revised. The 10th class tests will be conducted from 8 to 25 May.

Delhi government also is said to have decided to conduct board exams 2021 on some other date. Class 9 and 11 exams are postponed.

It is interesting to note that board exams 2021 schedule for CBSE 10th and 12th classes were released after much discussion.

T. Saraswati Devi, a 12th standard student from the state syllabus stream feels there is a need to exert caution as far as conducting board exams 2021 is concerned.

This is a point even her counterparts in CBSE stream also seem to agree.

Board exams 2021 are important but health of greater importance, says S. Manikrishnan, 10th standard student from a CBSE school.

It is also interesting to note that hashtag ‘cancelboardexams2021’ became a trend on Twitter which only showed how the demand to cancel board exams 2021 was on an upward move.

A few parents even suggested to consider the option of conducting board exams 2021 online.
However, there was no worth noting response in that regard.

CBSE on the other hand assured all precautions would be followed while conducting board exams 2021.

The move to go ahead with conducting board exams 2021 also drew criticism.

However, the decision to cancel 10th exams and postpone 12th exams was welcome for many sections.

The decision regarding the current year board exams of CBSE was taken after a high level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Now what? The sources keeping track of education sector say that the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is likely to reconsider the decision regarding board exams under its stream.

Board Exams 2021Sources say, CISCE will take a decision regarding class 10 and 12 exams 2021 and would inform at the earliest.

While board exams may have either been postponed or cancelled, this does not mean any relief for students.

The cancellation or postponement does not mean relaxation, says G. Krishnamurthy, a former principal of CBSE school.

They must continue to study their lessons of classes 10,11 and 12 as they have to still prepare for NEET or JEE Mains and other competitive entrance exams for higher education entry.
