CAT 2021 is dated to be held on November 28. CAT is the Common Aptitude Test. It is a national level management entrance exam. CAT is the exam introduced by the IIMs of the country for an admission in MBA course in IIM. Other than IIM, most of the other MBA colleges of the country accepts this exam’s scores for admission.
CAT is considered to be one of the toughest Indian exams that needs a lot of hard work and practise. The candidates who appear for the CAT exams start preparing for it for at least an year before. A lot of time and hard work goes into cracking the CAT exams with good scores.
Only a week is left for the CAT 2021 exams. On that note, here we thought to share some last minute tips and tricks for the students to effectively crack CAT 2021.
CAT 2021 is going to be held on the next Sunday on November 28th, as said above. It will be a tour hour examination that’ll be held in three shifts. The three sections of the CAT 2021 exams will be Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. 40 minutes is the time allotted for each section. For the PWD candidates, 13 minutes and 20 seconds will be given extra.
Here are some of the major preparation tips for the last week before the CAT 2021 exams.
Stick to revision only. Make sure to keep your last week saved for as much revision as possible. Just re-reading old things that you have already prepared for will help you remember them better. Revising the basics like the rules of grammar and quantitive formulas will be the best.
Try to sort out the formulas in a way that you will easily remember. If you keep doing the lengthy formulas, you might waste a lot of time. So, try to break down the formulas into quicker ways to remember.
Get the last week/last minute study materials ready with you beforehand. If you have been going to a coaching they must have provided you with lots of study materials. But, in the last week, you only need the cheat sheets or the mock papers. These will help you solve the existing questions and increase your paper solving capacity. So, all you have to do is ditch the heavy detailed materials in the last week and stick to the cheat sheet materials.
If you are facing some issues in any specific part, you must focus on that. You can consult the coaching you have enrolled in and ask the professors to help you with those problems. However, if you are still not able to solve them, we would recommend you to leave it and forget it. Focus on what you know. That would be enough.
Create fake or mock exams for yourself for the entire week. Try to solve as many mock papers and previous years papers during this exam. The idea is not only to solve the questions but to manage the time, prepare for a strategy, get familiar to the format, watch out your weaker zones, check your speed and accuracy on each section, and more.
Make sure you are getting enough rest and productive breaks in the last week. Do not get enough worked up where your brain gets stagnant. Eat proper meal, sleep well, have good distractions, and take it easy.
Last is to stay calm on the day of exam. Affirm that you know it all and you have done your best in the preparations.
We wish you all the best for your CAT 2021 exams. Just believe that you can do it. You have it all.
Over 15.68 lakh students appeared for the CUET UG 2026 exam — and right now, every single one of them is waiting for the same thing: the NTA CUET UG Answer Key 2026.
If you’ve just finished your exam and want to estimate your score, challenge a wrong answer, or simply understand what happens next — you’re in the right place.
This guide covers everything: when the answer key drops, how to download it, how to raise objections, expected cutoffs for top colleges, and what the complete CUET 2026 timeline looks like from here to admission day.
What Is the CUET UG Answer Key?
The CUET UG Answer Key is the official document published by the National Testing Agency (NTA) that contains the correct answers to all questions asked in the exam. It comes in two stages:
Provisional Answer Key — Released first. You can verify your responses and raise objections.
Final Answer Key — Published after NTA experts review all challenges. This is the key used to calculate your official CUET score.
Think of the provisional key as a draft — it’s your one shot to correct any errors before your score is locked in permanently.

How to Challenge the Provisional Answer Key
Found a question where the official answer seems wrong? You can formally challenge it. Here’s how the process works:
Challenge Fee
₹200 per question (non-refundable processing fee)
The fee is not returned even if your objection is accepted
What Happens to Your Objection?
NTA’s subject experts review all challenges
If your objection is valid, the answer is corrected for all students — not just you
NTA does not inform individual students whether their specific challenge was accepted
The common final answer key reflects all accepted corrections
Important Rules
The objection window stays open for only 2–4 days. Miss it and you lose the chance permanently.
You cannot challenge the response sheet — only the answer key.
Objections submitted after the deadline are not entertained under any circumstances.
CUET 2026 Marking Scheme Explained
Understanding the marking scheme is critical for accurately estimating your score.
Example: If you attempted 45 questions, got 38 correct and 7 wrong: Score = (38 × 5) – (7 × 1) = 190 – 7 = 183 marks
The provisional answer key score can still change after the final key is published. Don’t make any critical admission decisions based on the provisional key alone.
