CAT 2023 admit card will be released on 7 November 2023 on the official website ‘iimcat.ac.in’ Candidates who have successfully completed their CAT 2023 registration can download the hall ticket.

The link to download the hall ticket for CAT 2023 was to be made available on 25 October 2023. Now it will be made active on the new date said above.

CAT 2023Applicants can visit the website for the exam from 7 November 2023 onwards to download the admit card for CAT 2023. For more details, candidates can visit the official website mentioned above.

Candidates desiring to study management programs at IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management or Indian Institute of Management) can focus on this exam.

The last date to take up CAT 2023 registration was 13 September 2023 earlier. That was extended to 20 September 2023. Applications could be submitted till 5 PM on 20 September 2023.

The results for the exam will be tentatively declared in the second week of January 2024. The date for the result declaration will be informed on the official website in due course.

About CAT 2023

The full name of the exam is Common Admission Test which is popularly known to all as CAT. It is conducted every year by one of IIMs located in India.

It is a national level exam that has to be passed to gain admission into management courses offered by IIMs and is conducted every year.

CAT 2023 is meant to be conducted this year (2023) and IIM Lucknow will be organizing the exam for 2023. The CAT 2023 score is valid only till December 31, 2024 and will accordingly be accessible on the website.

LPU College admission

Thereafter, no queries related to the issuance of CAT 2023 scorecards will be entertained. The exam will be conducted in three sessions on the day of the exam.

Many other popular management institutions located across India also provide admission into management courses offered by them based on CAT scores.

Students who pass CAT 2023 with good scores will be able to seek admission into even non-IIM business schools also.

CAT 2023Who could take up CAT 2023 registration?

Candidates willing to take up CAT 2023 registration must have passed Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories].

Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also take up CAT registration.

However, they have to pass the exam and provide a proof for it by the time of admission process in IIMs commences.

Score cards

Candidate’s CAT scorecards will be made accessible on the CAT website. Candidates may also be intimated individually by SMS. The CAT results are likely to be declared by the second week of January, 2024.

The CAT 2023 score is valid only till December 31, 2024 and will accordingly be accessible on the website. Thereafter, no queries related to the issuance of CAT 2023 scorecards will be entertained.

How to download admit card?

The admit card will be available for download from 7 November to 26 November 2023 (the day of the exam). Candidates who have successfully completed their CAT registration will alone be able to download admit card and its process is explained below:

1. Candidates have to visit the official website for the exam at ‘www.iimcat.ac.in’

2. Once the website is ready, candidates have to click the link for downloading hall ticket which may open another webpage.

3. When another webpage opens, candidates have to type their application number and other required information and submit them to obtain the admit card.

CAT 2023

Exam pattern

CAT 2023 will be conducted online as a computer based test where the questions have to be answered on a computer screen at the test center.

Duration to complete answering is 2 hours or 120 minutes. The test will have questions related to Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Aptitude (QA).

The exam will be conducted in three sessions – morning (8:30 AM to 10:30 AM), afternoon (12:30 PM to 2:30 PM) and evening (4:30 PM to 6:30 PM).
