CAT 2025 registration is open till 5 PM on 20 September 2025 at ‘https://iimcat.ac.in/per/g06/pub/32842/ASM/WebPortal/1/index.html?32842@@1@@1’
The registration for CAT 2025 or CAT 2025 registration commenced by 10 AM on 1 August 2025.
The last date for CAT 2025 registration, earlier, was 13 September 2025, now that has been extended to 20 September 2025.
It is for those who desire to study management courses in IIMs aka Indian Institutes of Management or Indian Institute of Management.
IIM Kozhikode will be conducting CAT 2025 and the test will be held on 30 November 2025, the test will be conducted in online mode.
Online mode is also known as computer based mode or computer based test. This is where the questions will have to be answered on a computer screen at the test center.
Candidates who are keen on joining IIMs for management courses can consider undertaking CAT 2025 registration.
Those who have successfully completed their CAT 2025 registration can download the admit card from 5 November 2025 onwards. Exam will be held on 30 November 2025. The result will be declared by first week of January 2026 tentatively.

About the exam
The full name of the exam is Common Admission Test which is popularly known to all as CAT. It is conducted every year by one of IIMs located in India.
It is a national level exam that has to be passed to gain admission into management courses offered by IIMs and is conducted every year.
CAT 2025 is meant to be conducted this year (2024) and IIM Kozhikode will be organizing the exam for 2025. The score cards can be downloaded after the results are declared.
Many other popular management institutions located across India also provide admission into management courses offered by them based on CAT scores.
Students who pass CAT 2025 with good scores will be able to seek admission into even non-IIM business schools also.
Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also take up CAT 2025 application submission.

However, they have to pass the exam and provide a proof for it by the time the admission process in IIMs commences. There is more to it than meets the eye.
CAT 2025 registration process
The process to take up CAT 2025 registration is online and candidates have to visit the official website of the exam which is accessible at ‘www.iimcat.ac.in’
1. The URL mentioned above must be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the website to download.
2. Once the website is ready, candidates can click the information brochure and know about the exam.
3. After reading the information, candidates can click the New Candidate Registration/Register button.
4.Clicking the above link will open another webpage with another URL ‘https://cdn.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/32842/94621/Registration.html’, when that opens, candidates can provide the required information and create an account with username and password.
5. Post account creation, candidates can come back to webpage ‘https://iimcat.ac.in/per/g06/pub/32842/ASM/WebPortal/1/index.html?32842@@1@@1’ and click Registered Candidate Login/Login and then start CAT 2025 registration, filling the application form.
6. They have to pay the registration fee and then submit the application form.
CAT 2025 registration fee
Candidates have to pay CAT 2025 registration fee of Rs 2600 while applying for the exam. The same is Rs 1300 for candidates of ST/SC and PwD categories.
Candidate needs to pay the CAT 2025 registration fee only once, irrespective of the number of institutes he/she is applying for.
SC,ST and PwD candidates must upload a copy of their SC/ST/PwD certificates at the time of registration. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
CAT 2025 Admit card
Candidates who have successfully completed their CAT 2025 registration process will alone be able to download admit card and its process is explained below:
1. Candidates have to visit the official website for the exam at ‘www.iimcat.ac.in’
2. Once the website is ready, candidates have to click the link for downloading hall ticket which may open another webpage.
3. When another webpage opens, candidates have to type their application number and other required information and submit them to obtain the admit card.
Duration to complete answering is 2 hours or 120 minutes. The test will have questions related to Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Aptitude (QA).
