IIM Lucknow begins great new academic year

IIM Lucknow turned cynosure of all eyes when 643 new students. They are enrolled in three programs – Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP), Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM), Post Graduate Programme in Sustainable Management (PGP-SM), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes.
These students got a grand welcome over a three day elaborate induction program.


Ø 520 students in 41st Post Graduate Program in Management
Ø 57 students in 22nd Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management
Ø 46 students in 11th Post Graduate Programme in Sustainable Management

Ø 20 students in 26th Doctor of Philosophy
The new batch at IIM Lucknow comprises:
· 30% female students

· 50.70% students with an engineering background and 49.30% with a non-engineering background
· 32% freshers in PGP and 68% in PGP-ABM programs
Inaugural at IIM Lucknow
The inaugural event was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Ananth Narayan G, Whole Time Member, Securities and Exchange Board of India, and an IIM Lucknow alumnus, Class of 1993.
In addition to the Chief Guest, the inaugural event was attended by the top leadership team of IIM Lucknow including Prof. Sanjeet Singh, Dean Faculty; Prof. Sanjay K. Singh, Dean Programmes; Prof. Pushpendra Priyadarshi, Chairperson, Doctoral Program; Prof. Dipti Gupta, Chairperson, PGPSM, and Prof. Alok Dixit, Chairperson, PGP, among others.


The event commenced with the student pledge, marking a symbolic beginning of their journey at IIM Lucknow.
