The uniquely-designed programme MA (Society and Culture) (https://hss.iitgn.ac.in/masc/) is interdisciplinary in nature and equips the students for a variety of roles in various fields.
The last date to submit applications for MA Society and Culture is 10 February 2024. Students who have passed graduation in any discipline can apply for this program at IIT Gandhinagar.
Highlighting the unique qualities of the programme, Prof. Vikrant Jain, Head, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Gandhinagar, said, “Interdisciplinary knowledge and skills greatly enhance our ability to think innovatively and solve problems.

The MA in Society and Culture program encourages students to develop varied perspectives on social and cultural issues, enabling a deeper understanding of different academic disciplines’ interconnections, said Prof Vikrant from IIT Gandhinagar.
