IIT Gandhinagar has rolled out a news wherein they have stated that they will be accepting applications from the International students. This will start from the second semester. They have opened the application windows for the same.

IIT Gandhinagar – An Overview

Admitting International Students 

IIT Gandhinagar has recently rolled out an information on their website that says they have started taking applications for even the international students in their college. They are accepting applications from the second semester onwards. However, the application window has been released on their website. 

This application is rolled out for the post graduate programmes offered in the IIT Gandhinagar campus. The PG programmes will be for the subjects like engineering, science, and humanities and social sciences. These are being called as the winter admissions. 

The second semester will start from January 4, 2022. So, the application form needs to be filled before that. The last date to apply for this programme for the international students is December 10, 2021.

How to Apply 

All the international students who might be interested in doing any PG course from the IIT Gandhinagar campus, can fill this form. The form will be available on the official website of IIT Gandhinagar. 

The application floating window is on the first page of the website itself and can be clearly seen. So, one can directly fill from there. 

Courses Offered for International Students 

In the PG level courses, the college offers PhD and MTech degrees in biological engineering, computer science and engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, earth system science, materials engineering, and mechanical engineering. 

They also PG level courses like PhD and MSc degrees in physics, cognitive science, mathematics, and chemistry. Apart from this they have PhD in humanities, and social sciences, and MA in society and culture. 

Scholarships for International Students 

IIT Gandhinagar has also rolled out few scholarships as well for the international students. They want to help the foreign students as well with all the possible scholarships. The scholarships includes fully paid PhD fellowships, tuition fee waivers, international student fellowships, travel awards, and tuition awards.
