IIT Kanpur launches 5 New Programmes

IIT Kanpur has again turned the centre of attraction with the launch of five new E-Masters programmes. The E-Masters courses are launched in economics, fintech and business analytics. There is more to it when it comes to the courses started by IIT Kanpur.
Candidates who desire to study these programmes can do so without taking any break from their professional careers. This is a blessing of sort to people who are working and cannot take a leave for their studies.


Who can apply?
This is the most frequently asked question for any course and the programmes by IIT Kanpur are not an exception. Applicants wishing to apply for the courses offered by IIT Kanpur must have completed bachelors degree (4 year programme) or masters degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or 5.5/10 CPI.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience (one need not be currently employed to be eligible). Candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.

Students have to click ‘Apply Now’ and register to create an account comprising username and password. Post creating the account, candidates can login and start submitting the courses by IIT Kanpur. Students have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1500 while submitting applications for courses by IIT Kanpur.

Selection process

Applications submitted for these eMasters courses by IIT Kanpur will be analysed. Candidates whose applications are selected have to appear for a written test and pass it with required qualification marks. Candidates passing the test have to take part in an interview.
Selection to the programmes by IIT Kanpur would likely be on criteria – performance in qualifying exam, performance in written test, performance in interview, choice of the course by candidates, availability of seats.
