ISRO has good news for job seekers, There is some happy news for job seekers from Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The premier organisation is seeking applications from the eligible graduates for about 180 vacancies. These vacancies are based at URSC (U R Rao Satellite Centre) in Bengaluru.
The vacancies are for engineers and people with technical expertise. Sources say the list of vacancies for technician are electronic mechanic – 50, fitter – 17, electrical – 11, plumber – 5, turner – 3 and so on. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of up to Rs 21,700. Candidates with an SSLC, SSC, Matriculation as well as ITI, NTC or NAC can apply for the following vacancies.


Also, jobs for scientific assistant are also there for the candidates who have a first class graduation degree in chemistry, physics, electronics and so on. Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 44,900. There are vacancies on the general stream like library assistant, cook, heavy vehicle driver.
The process of applying for the jobs has already begun on 15 February and will go on till 6 March. The application process for these jobs in online and interested candidates can visit ‘https://apps.isac.gov.in/TA-2020/advt.jsp’ to know more about the vacancies and also apply for it.

The candidates have to pay application fee of Rs 250 through debit, credit cards or internet banking. For offline payment candidates can visit nearest SBI Branch. Candidates have to pay the fee after applying for the post before the last date of 7 March.
The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO web-site ‘www.isro.gov.in’ during the period from 15 February to 6 March. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.

E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be provided in the on-line application correctly and compulsorily. The hall tickets/call letters for written test/skill test for those who will be screened-in will be sent through email only and no hard copy will be sent.
