JCECEB BTech Admission 2023 is all about applying for graduate engineering courses in colleges across Jharkhand based on JEE Mains scores. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) is undertaking the counselling process to provide admission into engineering courses.

Students who wish to study graduate engineering (BTech/BE) courses in colleges in Jharkhand can apply for JCECEB BTech Admission 2023.

Counselling in connection with JCECEB BTech Admission 2023 will be held in three rounds. Students who get a seat in the counselling can convey their acceptance and pay the fees to join the course.

Who can apply for JCECEB BTech Admission 2023?

Candidates willing to apply for JCECEB BTech Admission 2023 have to pass plus two in the science stream with maths, physics and chemistry as subjects.

The pass percentage in the qualifying exam at the minimum must be 45% for applicants of the General category and 40% for those from the Reserved category.

Applicants must also pass JEE Mains 2023 exam as the criteria to select the candidates for admissions is the scores in JEE Mains exam.

Important dates

The application process for JCECEB BTech Admission 2023 has begun on 16 June and the last date to submit applications is 7 July 2023.

Candidates who have registered for JCECEB BTech Admission 2023 can take up corrections to applications submitted from 8 to 9 July 2023.

Point to remember

Candidates who have applied for the first round of counselling in connection with the JCECEB BTech Admission 2023, need not separately fill the application forms for the subsequent rounds of counselling.

However, those who are taking part in the counselling freshly have to fill out the application form for the counselling in connection with JCECEB BTech Admission 2023.

How to fill out the application for counselling?

The process to apply for JCECEB BTech Admission 2023 based on JEE Mains scores is online. Candidates can submit applications on the official website of JCECEB at ‘https://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/’

1. The URL mentioned above must be typed into the browser and the website must be allowed to download.

2. Once the webpage is available, candidates have to click the button Click Here for All Online Application Submission JCECEB 2023

3. After clicking the above button, it will open another webpage with the URL ‘https://jceceb.formflix.org/’

4. Once the webpage with the above URL opens, candidates have to choose the button Online Application for preparation of State Merit List on the basis of JEE (MAIN) -2023

5. Clicking the above button will open another webpage with URL ‘https://jcemain.formflix.org/’ where they have to register and create an account with username and password.

6. After creating an account, candidates can log in and then start filling out the application form for JCECEB BTech Admission 2023.

After registration

1st round of counselling

Candidates who have filled out the application form can log in and take up choice filling for seat allotment from 13 to 19 July 2023.

These candidates will be allotted provisional seat allotment letters from 23 to 31 July 2023. Document verification will take place from 24 to 31 July 2023.

2nd round of counselling

Candidates who are to submit applications freshly for counselling in this round in connection with JCECEB BTech Admission 2023 have to apply from 25 to 29 July 2023.

Publication of the state merit list for the second round will happen on 1 August 2023. The choice filling can be taken up from 3 to 7 August 2023.

Provisional seat allotment letters will be issued from 11 to 19 August 2023. The document verification will happen from 12 to 19 August 2023.

3rd round of counselling

Candidates who have to submit an application freshly for this round of counselling in connection with JCECEB BTech Admission 2023 can do it from 12 to 16 August 2023.

The publication of the state merit list for the third round will happen on 19 August 2023. The display of the vacant seat matrix will take place on 21 August 2023.

Choice filling for seat allotment can be done from 21 to 24 August 2023. The provisional seat allotment letter will happen from 28 August to 2 September 2023.

Document verification for this round in connection with JCECEB BTech Admission 2023 will take place from 29 August to 2 September 2023.
