  • Performance Analysis: A total of 6,98,378 students were deemed eligible to participate in the 2nd PUC examination this year. Among them, 6,81,079 students actively appeared for the exams while 17,299 were marked as absent. The pass percentage has shown a significant improvement, with 81.15% of students successfully clearing the exam.
  • District-wise Achievements: Dakshina Kannada district has emerged as the top-performing district with an outstanding pass percentage of 97.37%.
  • Gender-based Statistics: Female students have notably outperformed their male counterparts with a pass percentage of 84.87%, whereas male students achieved a pass percentage of 76.98%.
  • Top Achiever: A remarkable achievement was made by A Vidyalakshmi, a Science student from Vidyanikethan SC PU College, who secured the top position with an exceptional score of 598 marks.
  • Examination Details: The Karnataka 2nd PUC examinations were conducted from March 1 to March 22, 2024, in a single shift timing from 10.15 am to 1.30 pm. The process of evaluating answer sheets commenced on March 25.
  • Pass Percentage Comparison: This year’s pass percentage for Karnataka 2nd PUC has seen a significant increase of 6.48% compared to the previous year, reflecting an overall improvement in student performance.
