Applicants could pay the application fee in connection with KCET 2023 registration till 7 April 2023 as per the previous schedule.
The full name of the exam is Karnataka Common Entrance Test.
Another name for it is UGCET (Undergraduate Common Entrance Test).
It is a state-level entrance examination for admission to BTech, Agriculture, and BPharmacy courses in colleges in Karnataka.
The test will be conducted in offline mode and answers have to be marked on a separate answer sheet at the test centre.
Candidates who have passed plus two in any stream from a recognized educational institution can take up KCET 2023 registration.
The subjects should be maths, physics and chemistry if opting for engineering.
The same are biology, physics and chemistry if choosing courses from pharmacy or agriculture.

Candidates have to visit the official website at ‘https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/cet2023’
The URL has to be typed into the browser and the webpage must be allowed to download.
Once the webpage is downloaded, candidates can read the information about the exam.
After that, they can click the link for registration and create an account with a username and password.
Post account creation, candidates can log in and fill out KCET 2023 application form.
After the form is filled out, applicants must pay the registration fees.
Post payment, the form can be submitted.
KCET 2023 registration fee is Rs 500 for General, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B category applicants of Karnataka.
The same is Rs 250 for SC, ST and CAT 1 category applicants from Karnataka.
Female applicants from the state also have to pay Rs 250.
The same is Rs 1000 for third-gender applicants of the above-mentioned category.
KCET 2023 registration fee for applicants from other parts of India is Rs 750.
Applicants from outside India have to pay Rs 5000 as KCET 2023 registration fee.
Students who have successfully completed the process of KCET 2023 registration alone can download hall tickets.
The process to download admit cards is online, candidates have to visit the official website.

Above mentioned URL can be typed into the browser and then the webpage is to be allowed to download.
Once the website is available, candidates can click the link for admit card.
They have to enter their roll number, application number and other information and submit them to view the admit card.
The admit card can be downloaded and a printout can be taken and preserved for use during the exam.
Questions related to maths/biology, physics and chemistry have to be answered.
The dates of the exam are 20 and 21 May 2023.
Students who pass KCET 2023 with the required qualifying marks can apply for admission.
Process may comprise counselling, which may be conducted in more than one rounds.
Students who do not get a seat of their choice in the initial rounds can apply for the same in subsequent rounds.
Candidates who are selected have to show their documents for verification.
Those selected for admission have to convey their acceptance and pay the fees and join the course.
Schedule for counselling will be informed after the release of KCET 2023 results.
Students who pass KCET 2023 with the required qualifying marks can participate in the counselling process.
