KCET 2025 Registration Begins Today: Application Process, Exam Details, and Eligibility Criteria

From today, 23rd January 2025, the Karnataka Examination Authority, KEA will open up registration for Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET 2025. Aspiring and eligible candidates will be able to apply through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
KEA will also declare the entire list of KCET 2025 exam centres on its official website. Candidate can choose their KCET 2025 exam center while filling up the KCET 2025 application form.

The candidate will require the following documents such as SSLC, Class 10, 12 mark sheet and 2nd PUC mark sheet, passport size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and reservation certificates if any while applying for KCET.
KCET 2025 exam date, pattern
As per the KEA, the KCET 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 16 and 17 at various exam centres across the state. The exam will be conducted in two shifts daily, from 10: 30 to 11: 50 am and 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.
On April 18 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, a Kannada language test is scheduled to take place. The KCET Kannada language test will take place at district centres in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Mangaluru.
The KCET exam will be conducted on the pen-paper and will be in English and Kannada. In the KCET 2025, a total of 180 questions will be asked. According to the KCET marking scheme candidates will be allotted one mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking in the exam.

- CAT- 1, SC, ST candidates of Karnataka – Rs 250
- GM, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B candidates of Karnataka – Rs 500
- Foreign Candidates – Rs 5,000

KCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can have a look at the below KCET eligibility criteria 2025-
- English should be one of the compulsory languages of the candidates.
- Candidates with interests must have secured at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Biotechnology of Class 12.
- For SC and ST candidates the minimum qualifying mark is 40%.
