KEAM 2026: Registration (Open), Exam Dates OUT, Eligibility, Application, Exam Pattern & More

KEAM 2026: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has kicked off the KEAM application process. A link to the application is provided below this page and also at cee.kerala.gov.in. The last day to submit the KEAM application form is January 31, 2026.
CEE has also made it public the KEAM 2026 examination dates. The KEAM 2026 exam will take place between April 13 and 25, with the dates of April 13, 16, 24, and 25 allocated as buffer days.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations is the one who is organizing the KEAM entrance exam which is a state-level exam for undergraduate engineering and pharmacy admissions in Kerala. The KEAM test comprises a KEAM entrance test followed by a KEAM Centralised Counselling Process (CAP). For UG engineering and pharmacy admissions, the candidates must take the KEAM test, then the KEAM computer-based test, and finally, the CAP counselling for admission.
However, for other courses like medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, and architecture, the candidates need to register for KEAM and attend the centralised counselling process (CAP) by submitting the applicable entrance exam scores (like NEET and NATA).

KEAM 2026 Registration- STARTS
Ongoing Registration: 05 Jan 2026 – 31 Jan 2026

The KEAM application is an entirely online affair, and we have described below how to apply for KEAM 2026:
Filling KEAM application form: The applicants should input their personal, educational, income, and reservation details in the application form.
Uploading of images: After that, they have to upload the scanned images of the photographs, signatures, and documents required for KEAM 2026 according to the specified dimensions.

Along with signature, photo candidates are supposed to upload their documents as well. Firstly, Class X Certificate, Proof for Nativity, and Proof for Date of Birth are all the docs that have to be submitted by the candidates in PDF format.
To those who claim reservation, the candidates will have to submit the following documents:
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Community Certificate/EWS Certificate
- Certificate for special reservation claim
- Income Certificate
Uploading of relevant certificates along with the Online application form is for the purpose of KEE 2026 category/reservation benefits, fee concession, etc. The candidates should thus obtain the below Certificates from the concerned Revenue Authorities. Read Notice by CEE.

Note:
Candidates choosing ‘Dubai’ as their Examination Centre will have to remit an additional amount of INR 16,000 through online payment. Such candidates should, if possible, provide a local contact number in the relevant section of their application.
Application form printout: Candidates after completion of payment have to take a printout of the application form. The applicants should be aware that the proforma(s) also need to be printed with the application. The application form should be printed; however, it should not be submitted to the CEE office.
NOTE: After the completion of KEAM registration, the candidates must ensure the confidentiality of their KEAM 2026 candidate login credentials for all subsequent access.

What is KEAM?
The Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) takes the responsibility of conducting KEAM annually. Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) is a state-level UG admission process for courses like Engineering, Architecture, MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeo, Siddha, Unani, Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary, Fisheries, Pharmacy, Co-operation & Banking, Climate Change & Environmental Science, and BTech Biotechnology.
Admission Process via KEAM
Note that Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical (KEAM) is an admission process. It comprises two parts – an entrance exam for UG engineering and pharmacy admission and a centralised admission process (CAP counselling) for UG medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, and architecture courses based on various national-level entrance exam scores like NEET and NATA.
The candidates interested in admission to any of these courses have to register for KEAM. However, only the UG engineering and pharmacy aspirants will have to appear for the KEAM entrance exam; the rest of the candidates will have to directly register for CAP with their applicable national-level entrance exam marks.
Candidates Appearing for KEAM Exam
In 2025, a total of 1,19,974 (86,549 for Engg and 33,425 for BPharm) appeared in the KEAM exam. On average, around 85,000 to 90,000 candidates appear for KEAM engineering exam, and around 30,000 to 35,000 take the pharmacy exam.
KEAM Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have passed Class 12 exams to be eligible for KEAM. CEE has not specified any attempt limits for this state-level exam; however, candidates must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31 in the year of admission.
KEAM Syllabus and Pattern
CEE issues the KEAM 2026 syllabus PDF, and the questions in the exam are based on the topics mentioned on the official syllabus.
KEAM 2026 entrance exam for engineering admission will have questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. While the BPharm candidates have to appear for Physics and Chemistry only. The KEAM entrance exam for engineering courses consists of 150 questions, with Mathematics having 75 questions, Physics having 45 questions, and Chemistry having 30 questions. Candidates get 180 minutes to complete the exam.
For candidates appearing for the KEAM exam BPharm ONLY, the entrance exam has 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry, to be completed within 90 minutes. Each correct answer fetches four marks, while every incorrect answer results in a deduction of one mark.

KEAM Engineering Selection Criteria
Selection of candidates for engineering admission via KEAM will be based on a rank list drawn by giving 50:50 weightage to KEAM entrance exam scores and plus two marks. Hence, along with the state-level LEAM entrance exam, candidates also need to score good marks in the Kerala plus two board exams.

KEAM Selection Process
For admissions into the participating colleges, the students will have to go through the entire KEAM 2026 selection process. If they miss any step in the admission process, then they will not qualify for allotment. Each step is important in the selection process. - Apply for KEAM 2026: All candidates have to fill KEAM application form, even if they are applying for medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, architecture, and pharmacy courses
- Download admit card: The candidates applying for the engineering courses must download the entrance test admit card.
- KEAM exam: Engineering aspirants have to appear in KEAM 2026 CBT exam.
- Check answer key and result: The result of the KEAM 2026 engineering entrance exam and answer keys will be displayed on the official website.
- Submit plus two marks: The candidates who qualify the KEAM exam must submit their class 12 marks.
- KEAM ranks: The candidates who submit their plus two scores are included in the KEAM rank list. Based on the ranks of the candidates in KEAM, the seats are allotted via the KEAM counselling process.
- CAP: All candidates whose names appear on the KEAM merit list must appear for the centralised admission process (CAP) for seat allotment in the colleges.
