NEST 2024 Application submission is on till 3 June 2024 at ‘https://nestexam.in/’ The date to apply for the exam is extended.
The earlier last date to submit NEST 2024 Application was 31 May 2024. Now that is 3 June 2024.
A pass in NEST 2024 is a must to get admission into integrated 5-year MSc programs in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and others.
NEST 2024 will be conducted on 30 June 2024. The result of NEST 2024 is to be declared on 10 July 2024. There is more to it than meets the eye.
Schedule
NEST 2024 Application submission began on 3 April 2024 and last date was 31 May 2024 initially, now it is 3 June 2024. The date for opening of correction window will be announced later.
Candidates who have submitted NEST 2024 Application can make corrections in the application when the correction window opens. Admit card will be available for download from 15 June 2024.
Date for opening the online portal for challenging the answer keys will be announced later. Result will be announced on 10 July 2024.
Cutoff
Individuals have to pass NEST 2024 with minimum qualifying marks also known as cutoff scores.
They are the minimum marks candidates have to score in the exam to be eligible for further process.
Scores of the candidates in NEST 2024 must be either greater than the cutoff marks or equal to them to be eligible for further process. The further process likely involves counselling and document verification.
What is NEST 2024 Exam?
The full name is National Entrance Screening Test which is a national-level entrance test and is conducted once every year. NEST 2024 is meant to be conducted this year (2024).
NEST 2024 will be conducted online – as a computer-based test where answers have to be marked on a computer screen.

The format of questions is multiple choice, where each question will have more than one option and the right one has to be chosen to get the marks.
Even those who will be appearing for the 12th Standard examination or equivalent in 2024, irrespective of category and age, will be considered to be eligible for admission to the Integrated M.Sc. programme of NISER/CEBS in 2024.
Those willing to submit NEST 2024 Application must have At least 60% marks in aggregate (or equivalent grade) in Class XII examination from any recognized Board in India.
For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates and for Divyangjan candidates, the minimum requirement is 55% to submit NEST 2024 Application.
Registration Fee
Those submitting NEST 2024 Application must have to pay Rs 1400 as registration fee.
Female applicants have to pay Rs 700 as fee while submitting NEST 2024 Application.
The same for SC/ST/Divyangjan category applicants is Rs700. The payment can be done using credit card/debit card/net banking. There is more to it than meets the eye.
How to submit NEST 2024 Application?
The process to submit NEST 2024 application is online and candidates have to visit the official website to submit applications at ‘https://nestexam.in/’
1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser of the computer and the website has to be allowed to download.
2. Once the web page is available in the browser, candidates must click Online Registration
3. Clicking the above button will open another webpage with URL ‘https://cdn3.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/1834/88518/Registration.html’
4. Once the website with above URL opens, the candidates must provide the required information and then register and create an account with username and password.
5. Candidates can login after creating an account and start filling the NEST 2024 Application form.
6. Registration Fee has to be paid and the form has to be submitted.

4. Once the webpage with another URL opens, applicants have to enter, application number, date of birth and other required information and submit them to obtain admit card.
5. Once the admit card is available, candidates can download and take a printout.
Test
Students have to appear for NEST 2024 on 30 June 2024 and pass it with the required qualifying marks to be eligible for the next process which involves applying for admission through the required process.
The scores in the NEST 2024 have to be mentioned while appearing for the counselling process. Students who get a seat in the course of their choice can pay the fees and join the classes.
