Total Number of Vacancies – 17

Total Number of Departments – 6 or more 

Departments – Physics, Architecture & Planning, Chemical Engineering, Electrical, Electronics & Communications, Civil, Mathematics, and lots more. 

Eligibility – A candidate must hold a PhD in a relevant subject. This is why we mentioned that there is an opportunity for the PhD holders. They also must have a teaching and research experience along with having a PhD degree. 

There are certain age limits as well. The entire information will be on the official website of NIT Calicut where this information is rolled out. 

Selection Procedure – The candidates will be selected on the basis of the interviews conducted. It will be done post the written examination. 

The candidates who are shortlisted after the written exams, will qualify for the interview round. It is only through this process plus the experience that the candidates will be selected for the post. 

In the interview round, their documents will also be reviewed and analysed.

• CMAT Admit Card 2025: A printed copy (on A4 size paper) downloaded from the official website. Ensure it includes the photo and left thumb impression as required.
• Photo Identification: Original and valid ID proof such as:
  • PAN Card.
  • Driving License.
  • Voter ID.
  • Passport.
  • Aadhaar Card (with photo).
  • E-Aadhaar.
  • Ration Card.
  • Aadhaar Enrollment Number (with photo).

For candidates under the PwD category, bring the PwD certificate or UDID card issued by a competent authority.

• Passport-Sized Photograph: Two additional photographs, identical to the one uploaded in the application form, for the attendance sheet.

Exam Day Guidelines for CMAT 2025

1. Reporting Time: Arrive at the test centre two hours before the exam to complete registration and security checks.
2. Admit Card Verification: Entry will be denied without a valid admit card.
3. Question Paper Check: Ensure the question paper on the computer matches the subject code mentioned on the admit card.
4. Use of Rough Sheets: Perform all calculations on rough sheets provided at the centre. Submit these sheets to the invigilator after the exam.
5. Prohibited Items:
   • Electronic gadgets like mobile phones, smartwatches, and Bluetooth devices.
   • Bags, wallets, and pouches.
   • Food items (except for diabetic students).
6. Frisking and Identification: Candidates must cooperate with the test centre staff during document verification and frisking.
