NTA UGC NET 2020: Great extension for form filling till 31 May

NTA UGC NET 2020, National Testing Agency has extended the deadline with regards to submission of applications for UGC NET 2020 exam till 31 May.
According to a notification, the decision to extend the deadline for NTA UGC NET 2020 application submission was taken keeping in view the hardships due to COVID-19 situation.


This extension with regards to NTA UGC NET 2020 application submission is the third one, say sources. The first extension of last date with regards to NTA UGC NET 2020 was done till 16 April.
The second extension for application submission for NTA UGC NET 2020 was done till May 16. Union Minister for Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank is also said to have tweeted the official notice of the extension.
The NTA UGC NET 2020 exam is to be held from 15 to 20 June. Now this will be changed and the new dates for the exam will be announced in a few days.

Soon after the examination dates for NTA UGC NET 2020 are announced, the dates for downloading hall-tickets are also likely to be announced for the exam.

The results for NTA UGC NET 2020 are supposed to be declared by 5 July. The date for this also will soon be announced.

Candidates who have not applied for NTA UGC NET 2020 so far can go to the website of NTA for the exam at ‘https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/webinfo/public/home.aspx’ and fill the form.
After clicking the above link, candidates can scroll down the page and find the link ‘Fill application form for UGC NET 2020’ and click that.
Post download of the page applicants must register first and obtain user name and password. After obtaining those two, applicants can begin applying for NTA UGC NET 2020.

NTA has extended the last date for submitting application forms for other exams also till 31 May. They are Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)-2020, Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE)-2020 and Joint CSIR-National Eligibility Test (CSIR-NET)-June 2020.
Point to remember
The application forms for all these exams will be accepted till 5 pm of 31 May and fee submission can be done till 11:50 pm of the same day. The requisite fee can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM.
