OIL seeks mechanical engineers. Job seekers have a happy news from Oil India Limited (OIL). The well-known Government of India enterprise into exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas is looking for mechanical engineer and instrumentation engineer.

Eligible candidates applying for the post of mechanical engineer and instrumentation engineer can attend a walk in interview that would be conducted on 24 and 25 February respectively. The walk in interview will be held on both the days at ‘Conference Room, Narangi Club, Pipeline Headquarters, Oil India Limited, P.O.- Udayan Vihar, Narangi, Guwahati, Assam.’

According to sources, candidates applying for mechanical engineer post must report for the walk-in by 8:30 am to 9:30 am on 24 February, applicants for instrumentation engineer must report at the same time on the same venue by 25 February.

The salary for both the posts is Rs 45,000 per month and the upper age limit for the candidates applying for both the posts is 65 years. The selected candidates will be entitled for 10 days casual leave during the six month engagement.

Candidates can have at least three years of experience in their respective fields. Preference will be given to those who have experience of working in oil and gas industry.

Candidates must get a fully filled bio-data form, original mark-sheets, pass certificates, caste certificate (if applicable) and experience certificates, a set of self-attested photocopies of original mark sheets, pass certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate and two passport size recent photographs while attending the interview.
