SI Recruitment 2023 is about applying for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Application process started on 22 June 2023. Applications can be submitted on the official website of Staff Selection Commission (SSC).

The last date to submit applications for SI Recruitment 2023 is 15 August 2023. Applications can be submitted till 11:00 PM on 15 August 2023.

Candidates who have applied for SI Recruitment 2023 can make corrections in their applications from 16 to 17 August 2023. Corrections can be taken up till 11 PM to 17 August 2023.

The vacancies of Sub Inspector (SI) exist in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). SI Recruitment 2023 is about applying for these posts which are open to both male and female candidates.

There are about 109 vacancies for the post of SI (Executive) in Delhi Police for male candidates, about 53 vacancies in the post of SI (Executive) in Delhi police are for female candidates.

SI (General Duty) post in CAPFs have a vacancy of 1714 posts which are also open to eligible male and female candidates. These people can be posted anywhere in India.

The post of SI in CAPF carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted),

Who can apply for SI Recruitment 2023?

Age

Candidates willing to apply for SI Recruitment 2023 must be in the age group of 20 to 25 years. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2003 to be eligible to apply for SI Recruitment 2023.

Educational qualification

Aspirants of SI Recruitment 2023 must have passed a bachelors degree in any stream from a recognized educational institution can also apply.

1. The URL mentioned above has to be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the website to download.

2. Once the website is downloaded, candidates can read about the vacancy by clicking the notification.

3. After reading about the vacancy, they can click registration button.

4. After clicking the registration button, they have to provide the required data and create an account with username and password.

5. They can login with the username and password and then start applying for SI Recruitment 2023.

After applying

Candidates who have applied for SI Recruitment 2023 have to appear for a written test which has Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1 has questions related to General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension.

Paper 2 has questions related to English language and comprehension. Time to answer the questions is 2 hours for each paper. Those who have passed will be eligible for the next phase of the process.

The next phase

The next phase in SI Recruitment is about the physical standard test (PST) and physical endurance test (PET). Those who pass the written test in connection with SI Recruitment will be eligible for PST and PET.

Candidates who pass PET and PST will be subjected to medical checkup. Final selection will be done based on performance in written test, PET, PST and medical check up, availability of vacancies and candidates choice of vacancies.
