UGC NET 2024 Exam from 21 August to 4 September 2024, Dates Are Announced
UGC NET 2024 Exam will be conducted from 21 August to 4 September 2024 at various centers across India.
The new dates are announced. The exam was actually conducted on 18 June 2024 but was cancelled the next day.
It was also known that the question paper of UGC NET 2024 Exam was said to have been leaked on darknet.
National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the exam on the new day. UGC NET 2024 Exam is usually conducted twice in a year and this was the June cycle.
Registration
This aspect is not clear as to whether fresh application submission will be started for UGC NET 2024 Exam or not. There may not be fresh registration in this regard.
However, candidates may have to download fresh admit cards for the exam. The new hall tickets will have details about the fresh exam date and time along with test center details.
The first time, it is conducted in June and December for the second time. Individuals who wish to pursue research (Ph.D., Junior Research Fellowship, JRF) or apply for the post of assistant professor in various colleges located across India can apply for the exam.
Who can submit UGC NET 2024 exam Application?
Individuals who wish to submit UGC NET 2024 exam application must have passed post-graduation in their respective disciplines from a recognized educational institution located anywhere in India.
Students who are appearing for the final year exams of their qualifying degree or who have appeared and are waiting for the results can also submit UGC NET 2024 exam application.
However, students who have appeared or are about to appear for the exams must pass them and provide proof for it by the time further process for admission or recruitment commences. Clarifications can be obtained from the official website of the exam.

1. The URL mentioned above must be typed into the browser and submitted to allow it to download.
2. Once the website is ready, candidates can click the button for UGC NET June 2024 Registration/Login
3. Clicking the above link will open another webpage with URL ‘https://ugcnet.ntaonline.in/’
4. Once the webpage with above URL opens, candidates have to register to create an account with a username and password.
5. After creating the username and account, they can type the same URL ‘https://ugcnet.ntaonline.in/’ in their browser and submit it to download.
6. Once the website with above URL is available, candidates can login and start filling the UGC NET 2024 exam application form.
When to submit UGC NET 2024 exam Application?
The candidates can submit UGC NET 2024 exam application two times in a year. The first time the application can be submitted in March and the exam will be in June.
Those who are willing to appear in December can submit application in September or October of that year.

Point to remember
Applicants who have successfully completed their UGC NET 2024 exam application submission process will alone be able to download the hall ticket.
Students after viewing the admit card can check for the presence of errors on it. If there are no errors, they can download and take its printout.
In case of errors, they can take it to the notice of authorities concerned for rectification.
