Introduction to UPTET 2024?

Applicants can become eligible to teach at the Primary (Classes 1–5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) levels in Uttar Pradesh schools by passing the state-level test known as Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET), which is administered once a year. On behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB), the exam is administered by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC). The UPTET exam is administered in two shifts for Papers 1 and 2. Candidates who intend to teach classes 1 through 5 take the UPTET Paper 1. Conversely, applicants who intend to teach classes 6–8 should take UPTET Paper 2. Nonetheless, those who want to teach in Classes 1–8 must take both of the UPTET 2024 exams.

UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2024

UPTET Paper 1 Educational Qualification (Primary Teacher)

To take the UPTET Paper 1 exam, candidates must meet any of the following educational qualifying requirements:

• Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks and pass or appearing in the last year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the last year of the four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd).
• Class 12 with a minimum of 50% grades and passed or appearing in the last year of a two-year diploma in education (special education).
• graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of a two-year diploma in elementary education.
• Graduation with BEd (final year appearing or passing)

UPTET Paper 2 Educational Qualification (Upper Primary Teacher)

To take the UPTET Paper 2 exam, candidates must meet any of the following educational qualifying requirements:

• Graduated with a two-year diploma in elementary education
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or enrolling in a one-year BEd.
• Requirements: – Graduation with at least 45% marks and a one-year BEd – Class 12 with minimum 50% marks and a four-year BElEd – Class 12 with minimum 50% marks and a four-year BA/BScEd/BAEd/BScEd

UPTET 2024 Selection Process

The following steps are part of the 2024 UPTET Selection Process:

• Release of UPTET notification: The formal notification marks the start of the UPTET selection procedure. The notification is available as a PDF file and includes all the pertinent information, such as the application procedure, prerequisites, deadlines, exam structure, and syllabus.
• Application form for UPTET: The application process for UPTET is the focus of the second stage. To take the UPTET exam, candidates must complete UPTET Registration 2024. Candidates must pay the application fee for their application to be submitted successfully. For the general category, the price is INR 600; for SC/ST and PwD, it is INR 400.
• Release of the UPTET admit card: Candidates who successfully submit their exam applications will receive the UPTET admit card. On exam day, candidates must print their admission card and bring it with them to the testing location.
• Examining candidates: There are two papers in the UPTET exam. There are 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) over the two examinations. Every question is worth one mark. The exam does not have negative markings.
• UPTET result: The exam’s official website announces the results of the exam, which are administered by the relevant authority. Those who pass the written exam with at least 60% of the possible points are deemed competent.
• UPTET eligibility certificate approval: The exam authority issues an eligibility certificate to candidates who meet the test’s eligibility requirements. Those who possess the certificate can apply for teaching positions in Uttar Pradesh schools. The UPTET eligibility certificate now has a lifetime validity period.

UPTET 2024 Certificate
