XAT 2023: Great registration starts, all info here

XAT 2023 registration has started from August 10 2022 and applications can be submitted. XLRI School of Management made an announcement in this regard. Management education is popular in India and students keen on it can aim for this exam.
XLRI in Jamshedpur will be conducting XAT 2023 and the process to submit the application is online. The exam will be conducted in over 80 cities across India, say sources. Candidates interested in submitting applications can visit the official website.


Students who pass XAT 2023 will be considered for admission into XLRI School of Management. Many other institutes located across India also consider the scores of XAT 2023 for providing admission into management courses offered by them.
Dates
XAT 2023 will be conducted on January 8 2023 which is a Sunday. It is interesting to note that XLRI School of Management which is also known as XLRI has been conducting XAT for more than 73 years now. The test is expanded into Xavier Aptitude Test and is considered to be one of the most prestigious exams in India.

The last date for submitting applications with regards to XAT 2023 is November 30 2022. The admit card can be downloaded from December 20 2022 onwards. The result for XAT 2023 will be released on January 31 2023. The score card in connection with XAT 2023 can be downloaded between January 31 to March 31 of 2023.

How to apply for XAT 2023
The process to apply for XAT 2023 is online and candidates have to visit the official website of the exam to submit applications. The official website for XAT 2023 is ‘Link‘
Candidates, soon after the webpage downloads on clicking the above url, can click the link for registration. The registration process has to be taken up and user account comprising username and password has to be created.
Post account creation, candidates can login using the username and password and start filling the application form. Application has to be filled and registration fees has to be paid and the form has to be submitted.

Post submission, candidates have to wait for confirmation message indicating successful submission. After the confirmation message is obtained, candidates can take a printout of the form or the message confirming successful submission and then preserve it for future use.

Registration fee
The registration fee to be paid while applying for XAT 2023 exam is Rs 2000. Candidates interested in XLRI programmes needs to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200 each.
Indian Candidates applying for GMP through GMAT must pay Rs. 2500. NRI/Foreign candidates applying for one or more programmes through GMAT must pay Rs 5000.
Exam pattern
The duration of XAT 2023 will be 3 hours 10 Minutes and the questions will be in multiple choice format. This is a format where each question will have more than one reply option and the right one among that has to be chosen to get marks.
The number of questions to be answered in XAT 2023 will be about 100 or 105 and they will be related to Verbal Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Essay Writing Test.

Process post exam
There is a lot of other process that takes place after conducting XAT 2023. Pass in XAT is one of the process, a mere pass in XAT may not guarantee admission into the management courses.
Candidates have to pass XAT 2023 with the minimum qualifying marks which is also known as cutoff marks. Candidates have to compare their score in XAT 2023 with the cutoff, score of the candidates has to be either greater than the cutoff or equal to it.
If the marks of the candidates are greater than the cutoff or equal to it, they can move to the next phase of the admission process. The cutoff marks would be usually announced along with XAT result declaration.
Sometimes, cutoffs can be announced either shortly before or after the result release. Candidates with required qualification marks can take part in the further admission process comprising Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
There are various other institutions where candidates can seek admission based on XAT scores, these institutions may also announce their own cutoff scores, candidates can ensure their marks in XAT are as per the requirements specified by these institutions before applying for studies there.
