The total number of candidates to have registered for the exam was 186584 and 180200 have appeared in both the papers.

Registration

Application submission for JEE Advanced 2024 started on 27 April 2024 and went on till 7 May 2024. The last date to pay the registration fee was 5 PM on 10 May 2024.

Admit Card was made available for download from 17 to 26 May 2024. The exam was conducted on 26 May 2024, Paper 1 was conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Paper 2 was conducted from 2:30 to 5:30 PM on the same day. Candidates had to answer the questions in each paper in three hours. IIT Madras conducted the exam for 2024.

Who could apply?

Those who have completed their plus two in maths, physics and chemistry as subjects could apply for JEE Mains exam for this year.

Those who have passed JEE Mains 2024 with a rank in top 2.5 lakhs on an all India level can apply for JEE Advanced 2024.

The total number of boys to register for the exam was 143637 and 139180 of them appeared in both the papers. And, 40284 have qualified the exam as per JEE Advanced 2024 result.

Over 42947 girls registered for JEE Advanced 2024 and out of them 41020 appeared in both the papers and 7964 have qualified in the exam.

The number of boys to have qualified in the exam are more than the number of girls who have passed the test. Out of the applicants, most of them were Indian citizens.

About 186067 applicants who have registered were of Indian nationality. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) applications stood at 348, foreign national applicants for JEE Advanced 2024 stood at 169.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said that admit cards for the CTET December 2024 exam will be issued two days prior to the test. Since the exam is scheduled for December 14 and 15, the admit cards will be issued on December 12 and 13, respectively. “The Admit Card will be issued 02 days before the examination date. Candidate should download the Admit Card from the official Website https://ctet.nic.in,” CBSE said.

CTET December 2024 Admit Card: Download Process

Applicants are advised to check the information printed on their admit cards carefully and ensure that they are error-free. Here is how applicants can download the admit card for CTET December 2024 from the official portal:

Step 1: Go to the official website at ctet.nic.in.

Step 3: Enter your application number and date of birth in the login window.

Step 4: Fill in all the details for your access to the admit card.

Step 5: Print out the details appearing on the admit card and download.

Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall only after frisking with a valid ID proof along with their CTET admit card. The board may analyze the response pattern of candidates to check the similarity between correct and wrong answers. If there is evidence of shared responses or scores, then such candidate’s results may be withheld, and candidature may be cancelled.

Biometric attendance is compulsory for all candidates before entering the examination hall. According to CBSE, results of the candidates who do not mark biometric attendance may be cancelled.

The CTET examination will be conducted through two papers. Paper 2 will be conducted for the candidates who are applying for teaching classes 6 to 8, in the morning shift between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM. Paper 1 will be conducted in the second shift between 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM for the candidates who are looking for teacher posts in classes 1 to 5.
