TANCET 2025 Registration Begins Today: Key Dates, Eligibility, Exam Pattern, and More

Anna University will begin the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test, or TANCET, and Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions, or CEETA PG, registrations from today, January 24. The TANCET 2025 registration date ends on February 21. Interested and eligible candidates can fill up the TANCET registration form by visiting the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu. Anna University has also announced the TANCET exam date. According to the official calendar, the TANCET 2025 exam will take place on March 22. The CEETA PG 2025 exam date is March 23. The result date of TANCET 2025 has not been announced yet. Last year, the result of TANCET was announced on March 28.
As per the schedule, TANCET MCA exam will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon and MBA exam will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon and MBA exam will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The CEETA PG 2025 exam will be conducted in one shift from 10 am to 12 noon.

TANCET 2025 Registration: Fee details
Candidates will be needed to pay an application fee for completing the TANCET 2025 registration fee. The TANCET 2025 registration fee for General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) is Rs 1,000. However, the TANCET registration fee 2025 for reserved candidates such as Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) is Rs 500.

Candidates need to have completed bachelor’s degree with minimum duration of 3 years.

- 10+2+3/4/5 years pattern
- OR 10 + 3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern\OR B.E/ B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharm
- OR 10 + 2 + AMIE* (or) 10 + 3 years diploma + AMIE
- Age limit, there is no bar for applying TANCET 2025.
- Candidates must score at least 50% in aggregate, whereas the reserved category candidates must possess a minimum percentage of 45% in their qualifying degree examination
TANCET 2025: Exam pattern
TANCET Exam 2025 will be of offline mode, and the TANCET exam comprises 5 divisions- Business Situation, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Sufficiency, and English Usage which comprises 20 questions in total. TANCET 2025 will consist of a total of 100 questions. The medium of TANCET per will be English. For each correct answer, candidates will receive 1 mark and for every wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
