TISSNET which is also known as TISS National Entrance Test is exam that is conducted every year and TISSNET 2023 is the test to be conducted for next year. Students who wish to study various academic programmes at TISS have to pass TISSNET with required qualifying marks to become eligible for further admission process.

Eligibility for TISSNET 2023 registration

Candidates who wish to take up TISSNET 2023 registration have to pass graduation in the relevant discipline from a recognised educational institution. For example, candidates willing to study MA History have to pass BA History.

However, in certain courses, candidates who have passed graduation in allied disciplines can also apply. Students who are about to appear for exams of their graduating degree or who have appeared and are waiting for the results can also apply. They have to pass the degree and provide the proof for it by the time of admission.

Students have to register and create an account comprising username and password. Post account creation, candidates can start fill the application form, pay the registration fee and submit the form along with the required documents.

Fee to be paid while taking up TISSNET 2023 registration is Rs 1030 for candidates from general category for applying for one subject, for two programmes it is Rs 2060 and three programmes it is Rs 3090.

The same for eligible Goi-pms SC/ST/OBC(NC) candidates, it is Rs 260, Rs 520 and Rs 780 for one, two and three programmes respectively. And, for not-eligible Goi-pms SC/ST (only) candidates the application fee is Rs 510 for one programme, Rs 1020 for two programmes and Rs 1530 for three programmes.
