The last date to submit UPESEAT 2025 application was 28 April 2025, now that has been extended to 30 April 2025.

This is all about the first phase of admissions into engineering courses offered at UPES – University of Petroleum & Energy Studies located in Uttarakhand.

Admission process

Students must first submit UPESEAT 2025 application, they must appear for the test and pass it with required qualifying marks.

Those who pass UPESEAT with required qualifying marks, can appear for counselling, where selection of students will take place for the course.

Selection

Selection of students will take place based on performance in entrance exam, choice of the course by students, availability of seats in that course, performance in qualifying exam.

For some courses, candidates may also have to appear for an interview, in that case, performance in interview will also be considered for selection for admission.

Those who have appeared for JEE Mains, can submit UPESEAT 2025 application, but need not likely appear for UPESEAT, they can directly take part in the selection process.

UPESEAT 2025 Application Submission Eligibility criteria is the condition candidates must fulfill to be able to apply for the exam.

Those who have passed plus two from a recognized educational institution can apply, as per UPESEAT 2025 Application submission eligibility criteria.

Subjects in plus two must be maths/biology, physics and chemistry.

UPESEAT 2025 application submission schedule

UPESEAT 2025 application submission schedule started on 3 September 2025 and will go on till 30 April 2025. This is for the first phase.

Those who have applied for the exam can appear for UPESEAT 2025 from 2 to 4 May 2025. Result for UPESEAT 2025 may be out on June 2025.

Counselling for the first phase is expected to start in August 2025, the dates are yet to be notified. Schedule for counselling will be intimated in due course.

4. After webpage with above URL opens, they can register and create an account.

5. They can come back to the webpage ‘https://admission.upes.ac.in/Login’ after registration and try to login.

6. Post login they can start UPESEAT 2025 Application Submission process, filling the application form.

7. They can fill the form, pay the fees and submit it.

8. Post submission, they can download and take a printout.

After result

Candidates who have taken up UPESEAT 2025 application submission process can appear for entrance exam on dates said above.

They have to pass the exam with required cutoff to be eligible to take part in the counselling.

Counselling

Counselling is expected to start by July or August 2025. The schedule for counselling will be informed in due course on the official website mentioned above.

Registration process

1. The candidates have to visit UPESEAT 2025 website ‘upes.ac.in’

2. Click the link for counselling registration.

3. Login with help of UPESEAT 2025 application submission credentials

4. Pay the application fee and obtain confirmation.

5. After confirmation, they can resort to choice filling.

6. After choice filling, they can confirm their options or lock their options and submit them.

Those who do not get seats as per their expectations, can attempt to get it in later rounds of counselling.

Counselling will likely be held in more than one rounds, information about the counselling schedule is expected to be available by July 2025.

Candidates keen on a career in the Indian Armed Forces can apply for UPSC NDA and NA 1 Exam 2025. It is to remember that the entrance exam alone will be conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Candidates who pass NDA and NA 1 Exam 2026 with the required qualifying marks alone will be able to register for the interview. Interview is a process where physical, psychological abilities of the candidates are tested.

The final list of selected candidates will be prepared based on their performance in the physical test, psychological test, medical fitness test.

UPSC NDA and NA 1 Exam 2026 registration process can be taken up online. Applications can be submitted on the official website ‘https://upsc.gov.in/’

1. The URL mentioned above must be typed into the browser and submitted to allow the website to download.

2. Once the website is ready, candidates can click the Exam Notification: National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2026 button.

3. Clicking the above button will open another webpage

4. Once the webpage with another URL is open, candidates can see the notification about UPSC NDA and NA Exam 1 2026.

5. After knowing all about the exam, they can press the button Click Here located next to the notification button.

6. Clicking the above button will open another webpage with URL ‘https://upsconline.nic.in/upsc/OTRP/’

7. Once the above webpage opens, candidates can click the button New Registration and then create an account to obtain an OTR (One Time Registration) ID and password.

8. After obtaining the credentials, candidates can login using OTR ID and password and then view the list of exams and choose UPSC NDA and NA 1 Exam 2026 and apply for it.

9. The application form has to be filled and registration fee has to be paid and then form has to be submitted.

10. After submission, candidates have to wait for message indicating successful submission. After the message is obtained, candidates can download it and take a print out and preserve it for future use.

Candidates can directly access the OTR page and click the New Registration link to take up One Time Registration (OTR). After that, candidates can start filling the form.
