DU special cutoff 2021: Apply from great November 25
DU special cutoff 2021 in connection with second round of special drive will be released and students can start applying for admissions from November 25. Delhi University which is also popularly known as DU will release the special cutoff.
The DU special cutoff 2021 is being released as a part of special drive to fill vacant seats wherever applicable. This is the second round of the special drive, the DU special cutoff 2021 for the first round was announced on November 13.

The details about vacancies of seats in various courses in colleges (category wise) would be published on the websites of the colleges along with the cutoff.
Students who have secured the required cutoff marks in their qualifying exam and have ensured that they have met all the required eligibility conditions can seek admission under the special drive.
The procedure
The usual procedure is to release the cutoff marks for securing admission into various colleges. Soon after the release, students who have secured the cutoff marks in their qualifying exam can apply for studying courses of their choice in various colleges under Delhi University.
The qualifying exam is usually a pass in plus-two if one is applying for an undergraduate course. The same would be a pass in bachelors degree if the applicant is seeking admission to study a postgraduate course.
After releasing the cutoff, students apply for the course in various colleges. The students are sanctioned a seat taking into consideration the availability of the seats, performance (marks) earned in the qualifying exam.

However, the exact number of times the regular round of procedure would be conducted depends on the number of vacancies available and the number of applications received. If the seats are vacant, then the regular round could be conducted for more number of times.

If the seats remain vacant even after the regular round of admission is conducted, the special drive will be held.
Students who could not apply for admission when the regular rounds were conducted can apply while the special drive is being conducted.
Point to remember
Students who could not apply during the regular round of admission due to some reason can apply during the special drive. Even students who have cancelled their admission during the earlier rounds can also apply during the special drive.

The number of times the special drive would be conducted depends on the number vacancies of seats in the colleges that come under the university. Students who have secured a seat in earlier rounds including first round of special drive will not be allowed to take part in the second round of the special drive.
Soon after the webpage downloads, candidates can click the link with regards to ‘Admission 2021.’ As the new page opens after clicking ‘Admission 2021,’ students can click the respective link with regards to ‘DU special cut off 2021’ and access the cutoff for the second special drive.
Students can download the stream wise DU special cutoff 2021. Post download, candidates can take a printout of the DU special cutoff 2021 and preserve it for special use.
Schedule
The vacant seats in the colleges that come under Delhi university would be declared on 24 November as per the schedule by Delhi University. The declaration of DU special cutoff 2021 for the second round of special drive will be done on 24 November.
Post declaration of DU special cutoff 2021 for the second round of filling vacant seats, students can start applying for admission from 10 am of 25 November to 11:59 pm of 26 November.

Colleges will approve the applications received from students and prepare the merit lists which will be displayed on the websites of the colleges from 10 am of 27 November to 11:59 pm of 29 November.
Round 1
The DU special cutoff 2021 in connection with first round of special drive was announced on 13 November.
As per the schedule released then, after DU special cutoff 2021 for the first round of special drive was announced, students could apply for admissions against the DU special cutoff 2021 from 10 am of 14 November to 11:59 pm of 15 November.
The list of accepted candidates was displayed from 10 am to 16 November to 11:59 pm of 17 November. Students had to pay their fees within 5 pm of 19 November.
