The Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) takes the responsibility of conducting KEAM annually. Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) is a state-level UG admission process for courses like Engineering, Architecture, MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeo, Siddha, Unani, Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary, Fisheries, Pharmacy, Co-operation & Banking, Climate Change & Environmental Science, and BTech Biotechnology.
Admission Process via KEAM
Note that Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical (KEAM) is an admission process. It comprises two parts – an entrance exam for UG engineering and pharmacy admission and a centralised admission process (CAP counselling) for UG medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, and architecture courses based on various national-level entrance exam scores like NEET and NATA.
The candidates interested in admission to any of these courses have to register for KEAM. However, only the UG engineering and pharmacy aspirants will have to appear for the KEAM entrance exam; the rest of the candidates will have to directly register for CAP with their applicable national-level entrance exam marks.
