B.Tech Scholarships

Merit Plan 2: Scholarship offered based on IB Score /IB Diploma

BBA Program Scholarship/B.Com (Hons.) Scholarship/B.A.(Hons.) Economics Scholarship

• 98% aggregate marks in core 3 + Eng in Class XII CBSE/ICSE gets a scholarship worth 100% of the tuition fee
• 95% – 97.9% aggregate marks in core 3 + Eng in Class XII CBSE/ICSE gets a scholarship worth 75% of the tuition fee
• 90% – 94.9% aggregate marks in core 3 + Eng in Class XII CBSE/ICSE gets a scholarship worth 50% of the tuition fee
• 85% – 89.9% aggregate marks in core 3 + Eng in Class XII CBSE/ICSE gets a scholarship worth 25% of the tuition fee

LAW Scholarships

Dean Scholarship of 25% waiver on tuition fee will be given to 20% of the class for the first year depending on academic performance and Interview score.

Score >195 in NMAT-  50% of the tuition fee

Score from 181 to 195 in NMAT- 25% of the tuition fee

Score from 160to 180 in NMAT- 10% of the tuition fee

Early Cycle Scholarship

• This Scholarship entails 10% Scholarship on First Semester Tuition Fees
• This is a one-time scholarship eligible only for the first semester.

Other scholarships

• Defence Ward’s Scholarship at BML Munjal University: 10% of all scholarships offered by BMU are reserved for wards of serving and retired armed force officers and other ranks, who are eligible as per admission process defined by the University.
• Ishan Uday: Scholarship scheme by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for students from the North Eastern Region.
• Scholarship by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD): Central sector scholarship scheme for college and university students
• Hero MotoCorp E2: Hero MotoCorp will provide scholarships to academically bright students under this scheme in the second-year based on their performance in the first year.
• Hero MotoCorp Hamari Pari: Hero MotoCorp provides scholarships in the first year to academically bright underprivileged girls to study.
• All Central & State Government Scheme/Scholarship: Students who wish to avail this scholarship can apply independently on their respective portals.
• Reservation of seats for students: Reservation of seats for students from Jammu & Kashmir and North East Region will be as per the notification issued by the UGC and MHRD.

Haryana Domicile Scholarship

• 25% seats for admissions in the university are reserved for students of the State of Haryana, out of which 10% seats are reserved for students belonging to Scheduled Castes of the State of Haryana.
• The fee structure for 25% of the students who are domicile of Haryana shall be based on merit-cum-means and be as follows: –
  1. one-fifth of the 25% shall be granted a full tuition-fee concession
  2. two-fifth of the 25% shall be granted 50% tuition-fee concession
  3. the balance two-fifth of the 25% shall be granted 25% tuition-fee concession.

Financial Assistance

As per the Government of India’s policy, banks will facilitate educational loans up to Rs. 7.5 lakhs at concessional rates of interest without collateral security announced by RBI.

Hero MotoCorp Educate to Empower ‘E2’ Scholarship:

The university offers E2 scholarships to selected students in 8 separate disciplines who have consistently performed well and have been the top rank holders in their respective fields.

Educate to Empower ‘E2’ scholarships will cover tuition, boarding, and lodging costs. In the first year, scholarships worth 35 lakhs were awarded to the deserving students.

HERO MotoCorp ‘Hamari Pari’ Scholarship:

This scholarship is given to meritorious female students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who have maintained an excellent academic record throughout their 1st year.

In the first year, scholarships worth 25 lakhs were awarded to the deserving students.

Note:  Scholarships are awarded to pre-existing students.

Defence Ward’s Scholarship

This Scholarship is for the wards of serving and retired armed force officers and other ranks. The services that have been included are the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.

• Selection to B.Tech program depends on Entrance examination score followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
• Selection to MBA is based on BMU MAT (CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT OR NMAT) followed by a Case Analysis Test and Interview.
• Selection to Law Programs is based on CLAT or LSAT score followed by Personal Interview.

Munjal University Gurgaon Admission

Admission Criteria:

• Admissions to B.Tech program are based on JEE Main.
• Admission to the MBA program is based on a good score in BML Munjal University Management Aptitude Test (BMU MAT).
• CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT or NMAT qualified candidates can also apply for MBA program.
• Admission to PhD is based on written test followed by an interview.

Online Mode:

• The candidate needs to click on Apply Online link and fill the application form
• Candidate has to upload the desired documents and pay the application fee by Debit Card/Credit/Net-Banking.

Offline Mode

Munjal University Gurgaon Campus Life

BMU is committed to enhancing the quality of life of its students by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The gated campus has high walls manned by round-the-clock security staff. Closed-circuit TVs and intruder alarm systems are at strategic points around the campus. The campus has a 24-hour security patrol service.

The campus is equipped to accommodate 2000 students in the state of art multistoried hostel designed by HOK Architects. Hostels include three, two and single-seater rooms having common areas on each floor with entertainment and recreational facilities.
