Applicants have to appear for a written test after applying. Students applying for UG programs have to qualify in BITSAT, those focused on PG programs have to pass BITS HD Test or GATE Score for engineering and GPAT for postgraduate courses in pharmacy (MPharma). For admission into ME (Software systems), scores of BITS HD will only be taken into account.

Performance in the qualifying exam, written test will be analysed while providing the admission to students, students have to pass their qualifying degree with the required pass percentage. The entrance test also has to be passed with required qualifying marks. The documents of the applicants submitted while filling the application form will also be checked to know more about the students applying for courses.

Those who are selected will be likely appearing for an interview, where their documents will also be verified. Post verification, students will be provided seats based on criteria like performance in qualifying exam, performance in the written test, student’s choice of the course, seat availability. Those who get a seat can join for classes. 

Dual Degree Courses

The institution also offers certain dual degree courses, students who have joined MSc courses in the institution can go for BE courses from their second year. MSc is offered in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Economics. The assignment of the second degree in B.E. for the M.Sc. students is announced generally at the completion of their first year courses.

The allotment of a B.E. course stream is done purely on the basis of the academic performances of the students in the 1st year at BITS and the number of seats available in that particular programme. If a student is admitted to a second degree programme under dual degree scheme, they have to pay the admission fees of the second programme, separately, at the time of such admission is made.

2. For MBA Program

Step 1:
