Eram Unani Medical College and Hospital was established in 1970 and was registered with the Registrar of Societies, U.P. The Society established Eram Model College in Barood Khana, Lucknow. The college offers education in Science and medicine through various well-developed courses. The main aim of Unani Education is to educate through its philosophy and to impart knowledge of its fundamental theories and practical training, using its special methods for diagnosis and treatment. The college aims to strive to make students capable of handing medical as well as surgical cases through their knowledge of Tibb-e- Unani with the help of modern advances and techniques. Eram Unani Medical College and Hospital strives to create a sense of self confidence in students so that as Unani doctors they are capable of being at par with doctors of other systems and quality to serve in the Medical/Health Services of the country as is being encouraged by Government’s Policy of recognizing the Unani System of Medicines.
