The Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal, was founded in 1982. It is an autonomous sectoral management institute of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Government of India. IIFM aspires to evolve knowledge which will be useful for managers in the area of Forest, Environment and Natural Resources Management and associated sectors.
