Admission Eligibility Criteria

Manipal Institute of Technology B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should pass the 10+2.
A total of three subjects are required within the Physics, Mathematics, and English as the compulsory and chemical, biology, or biotechnology or any vocational subject.
Concerning biology: practical as well as theory, the subjects selected should have been studied. This condition stands true for all practical arguments.
This vocational subject has to be the sub-window under which one of the streams, namely chemical, civil, computer, and electrical, falls.
He or she must have been eligible to have studied in the 50% bracket. Ultimate compliance with this criterion is very much necessary for the student who is keen on getting enrolled in this prestigious college.
The candidate must have taken the MET as selection criteria.
Results will be declared after these rounds of counselling.
Hence, the student may expect MET counselling only if he or she has cleared MET.

Admission Process

Manipal Institute of Technology Admission 2025

The Manipal Institute of Technology offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, and Ph.D. The B.Tech programs will range in specialization-from Computer Science, to Electronics and Communications, to Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc.

Physics, chemistry, and mathematics are required to be completed at 10+2 level. JEE Main and MET percentages should be secured too by candidates. The selection process depends on their ranking in various entrance exams followed by online counseling.

Specialty areas in which M.Tech programs are offered include: Computer Science, VLSI Design, Structural Engineering, etc. Interested students are directed to hold certain qualifications like B.Tech or B.E. degrees from proper fieldings. Admission should be based on the MET score and your academic preparation.

The MBA entry can be qualified either into two-year M.Sc. or five-year Integrated M.Sc. MCA; manipulation offers MCA courses also. The caancies who wanted to do MCA must have completed with BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science or IT) / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks in such qualifying examination.

Manipal Entrance Test is a university-level test taken by MUOEH, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, to get through this exam for an undergraduate program with proper eligibility criteria of certain UG courses; every graduate and undergraduate course accepts the pass-test score in twice a year for multiple sessions.
