Sardar Bhagwan Singh Post Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences and Research was established in 1994. Its is a premier institution offering professional education in the field of Biomedical Science in Dehradun, Uttaranchal. The institute is affiliated to the H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar and Uttarakhand Technical University. The institute offers eleven programmes under three main divisions, namely the Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Division of Life Sciences, and Division of Medical Sciences. All its courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) and the Uttaranchal Association of Physiotherapists. Its publication society publishes the only physiotherapy magazine in the country.
