Disaster management Course 2023 Disaster management is all about making concrete plans to avoid any type of disasters from affecting human lives and property.
In case such calamities take place the focus shifts to reducing, managing and overcoming the ill-effects of the catastrophe. This is done by studying the history of such disasters and mapping potential disasters, both man-made or natural and creating fool-proof plans and processes to be taken up as and when such calamities occur.
A course in Disaster Management focuses on techniques for enhancing competence in prevention, mitigation, and management of natural as well as industrial disasters. Besides classroom training, the course equips students for facing natural disasters. One can pursue MA/M.Sc/MBA after successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
