About AIHMCT WAT 2022

AIHMCT WAT 2022: Students who are interested in studying hotel management and catering technology courses can focus on this well known exam. It is also known as Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Written Admission Test. AIHMCT WAT 2022 is the test being conducted for the year 2022. 

Students who pass this exam will get admission into Bachelors course in hotel management and catering technology offered at AIHMCT (Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology). Applicants willing to apply for AIHMCT WAT 2022 must be children of eligible serving Army personnel, eligible Ex- Army personnel and war widows of the Army only.

Candidates who have passed plus-two exams in any stream from a recognised institution can apply for the test which is conducted online. The mode to submit applications is online and offline, candidates can choose either one of them to submit applications as per their convenience. In online, candidates have to visit the official website and click the required link register and create an account comprising username and pass word. Post creation of account, candidates can login to submit application. 

In offline mode, candidate can visit the institution in person to procure the form. The form can be filled there itself and submitted, it can be filled in home and sent to the institution either by post or courier. Post, submission candidates have to take part in a test that will be held online and anwer questions related to English Language, General Knowledge, Hospitality and Tourism, Reasoning & Logical Deduction, and Scientific Aptitude & Numerical Ability in 3 hours. 

The written test has to be passed with required minimum qualifying marks which is also known as cutoff score. Students who have passed the exam with cutoff score can take part in the further admission process. More information is provided in the tabular format below for the sake of the students:

JEE Advanced 2023 Eligbility Criteria

The candidates can check below the eligibility criteria to appear for JEE Advanced 2023:

Age limit: There is an age limit to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995
  • Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1990.

Qualifying JEE Main 2023: Candidates should be among the top 2,45,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE Main 2023. The number of candidates that are selected from each of the categories is as follows:

Candidates will be allotted seats into the participating IITs according to their secured ranks, preferences and availability of seats.

The counselling for the JEE Advanced AAT 2023 qualified candidates will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The candidates will have to register through JoSAA where allotment will be done according to the candidate’s secured rank, preferences made and availability of seat.
