About IISER 2022 or IISER AT 2022

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test 2022 Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test (IISER AT) is conducted for providing admission into BS and Integrated BS courses at IISERs located across the country. Candidates who pass this exam can study the above mentioned courses in IISER Berhampur, IISER Bhopal, IISER Kolkata, IISER Mohali, IISER Pune, IISER Thiruvananthapuram and IISER Tirupati. 

This is a national level exam conducted once every year and IISER 2022 or IISER AT 2022 is meant to be conducted in 2022. Candidates who have studied plus-two from a recognised institution in science stream can apply for admission into IISERs mentioned above. There is more to it. Candidates who passed plus two should have to pass KVPY Exam or JEE Advanced Exam. Those who have passed KVPY along with plus-two can apply through KVPY channel directly. Students who have passed JEE Advanced Exam along with plus-two can apply through JEE Advanced channel directly.

Students who passed plus-two exams from state or central boards but did not pass KVPY or JEE Advanced can also apply through SCB (state or central boards) channel. Candidates who apply through SCB channel have to appear for an aptitude test which is known as IISER AT (IISER Aptitude Test).

The time and date schedule for application submission and other subsequent procedures for the three channels are likely separate. The information will be made available in the official notification.

The notification is released on the official website of IISER at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.

Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to maths,physics, chemistry, biology have to be answered in three hours time.

Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it. Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks,  If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process.
