About KU CAT 2022

Kerala University Common Entrance Test 2022 University of Kerala or Kerala University (KU or UoK) conducts Common Admission Test (CAT) to provide admission into Masters in Business Administration (MBA) course in Institute of Management in Kerala (IMK- Kariavattom Campus) and at University Institutes of Management (UIM). Students who wish to do masters in business administration can aim for this exam.

This is a university level exam that is conducted every year and the exam is popularly known as KU CAT as it is conducted by University of Kerala or Kerala University. Candidates who pass this written test with the required score have to take part in Group Discussion and Interview. The written test part is said to have been replaced now with KMAT, CMAT or CAT. 

Earlier the procedure was appearing for KU CAT and passing it with required score. Applicants who passed with required score had to appear for Group Discussion and Interview. Now the KU CAT has been replaced with KMAT, CMAT or CAT.

Now the procedure is passing KMAT, CMAT or CAT and then applying for the course at KU. Post submission of application, candidates have to appear for interview. KU CAT would have been replaced, however, the information about it are being provided below for the sake of the candidates.

Notification is issued on the official website of KU at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. 

Candidates who have the required educational qualification and have passed CAT, KMAT or CMAT can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.

Candidates who are shortlisted have to appear for an interview. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
