About MGU CAT 2022

Mahatma Gandhi University Common Admission Test 2022 Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) in Kottayam of Kerala conducts Common Admission Test (CAT) to provide admission into postgraduate courses in various streams. The programmes offered are MBA/PGDM, MSC, MA, Masters  Tourism and Travel Management, LLM, MEd & Education Courses. 

The notification is released on the official website of MGU at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. The notification for this year postgraduate admission 7 March 2022 onwards, the registration process is on and candidates can submit applications till 25 April 2022. 

Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.

Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to English Language, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Travel Geography have to be answered in 1 hour 30 minutes.

Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.

Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks,  If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
