About MU OET 2022

Manipal University Online Entrance Test 2022 Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) located in Karnataka coducts Entrance Test (ET) to provide admission into various undergraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, arts and humanities and management.

The popular name of the test is MET which stands for MAHE Entrance Test. MAHE was formerly known as Manipal University and previous name of the exam was Online Entrance Test (OET) which was famous as MU OET. The old name (MU OET) continues to be popular and the test is also known sometimes by its previous name.

The exam is for those who wish to study graduation in subjects mentioned earlier and is an institutional level exam that is conducted usually conducted twice a year. The notification is released on the official website of the institution at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released.

The entrance exam application submission began on 17 May, 2022 and the last date to submit applications is 31 May, 2022.

The exam will be conducted from 9 - 11 June 2022. Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.

Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to maths, physics, chemistry have to be answered if the course chosen through this exam is engineering. 

Admission into biology or biotechnology oriented courses at graduation level requires to answer questions related to biology instead of maths along with physics and chemistry. Candidates choosing management or arts and humanities course will answer questions related to general awarness, general knowledge, general aptitude and english language skills. The time to answer questions is 2 hours 30 minutes. 

Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.

Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks,  If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
